The estate?s 2007 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva impresses for its vinous, floral personality, something that is quite rare for the year. Freshly cut flowers, spices and sweet red berries jump from the glass in this pretty, delicate Riserva. At times, the 2007 comes across as a bit over-ripe and candied, but it is attractive just the same, especially if enjoyed over the next handful of years.
