The unbottled sample of the 2017 Viña El Pisón confirmed this is their best vineyard, the one that absorbs the character of the vintage and shows through in the wine irrespective of a warm or cold vintage. This has power and elegance and is subtler and more delicate and contained, even restrained, with great depth. It even has some orange peel notes that provide freshness. 4,500 bottles produced. It should be bottled around May 2019.
