The 2013 Blanc de Blancs "La Bolorée" is from a south-facing 0.21-hectare plot planted with Pinot Blanc in 1960. Very delicate and fine in its bright fruit flavors, this is not a fruity Pinot Blanc but one that is pure and terroir-driven with exciting iodine flavors, a firm, compact structure and serious minerality. The 2013 is rich and intense, and its finish is very long, complex and salty.
