(in 2019 from a bottle opened at an event in Burgundy though it did not appear to be in the best of condition). Some bricking. There is noticeable, but not dominant, volatile acidity present on the fully sous-bois, spice and underbrush-suffused nose. The attractively textured, rich and generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors still possess good punch and power though the appealingly complex finish leans out somewhat due to the VA. I found this to be acceptable if techincally quirky. Note that it's possible a more carefully stored bottle might well show better.
