Here the nose is cool, pure and distinctly floral with additional aromas of black cherry and black raspberry. There is both excellent richness and intensity to the delicious, sappy and explosive finish that balances the mid-palate sweetness against a touch of mild backend austerity. Lovely but altogether serious.

Dit is echt top Bourgogne: zijdezacht maar met de concentratie en volheid dat zo typerend is voor pinot-noir uit de Bourgogne. Het jaar 2009 is natuurlijk een super jaar in de Bourgogne, maar deze wijn is echt geslaagd. Nog jong, maar de tannines zijn al zacht aan het worden. Veel fruit, kersen, frambozen, mooie mineralen en wat toast van de eiken vaten.
