The 2009 Montrachet (from the Chassagne side) comes across as weightless and somewhat reticent at the same time. All of the elements are in the right place, the wine just appears to be in shut down phase right now. This is a decidedly elegant, understated Montrachet brimming with class.

Though elegant, this white shows density and intensity, sporting flavors of peach, apple, pear and melon that all mesh with the bright structure. This ends with a mouthwatering impression.
