Floral, spiced aromatics lead to ripe red fruit as the 2006 Barbaresco Gallina opens up in the glass. The mid-weight Gallina reveals excellent depth and length although the tannins could use a touch more polish. This pretty, delicate Barbaresco continued to improve in the glass, and it should drink nicely after a few years in bottle.

Lovely floral and sweet berry aromas, with hints of cedar. Full-bodied, with velvety, round tannins and a vanilla, blueberry and cherry aftertaste. Very young and clean.
