The outstanding 1994 Mourre des Perdrix possesses a dark ruby color with purple nuances, as well as an expressive set of aromatics that includes notes of seaweed, black cherries, roasted herbs, and spice. The wine exhibits excellent density, a sweet, expansive mid-palate, full body, and loads of flavor. It explodes on the back of the palate, suggesting there is even more hidden beneath the tannin and sound structure. This is an impressive, rich Chateauneuf du Pape
