Dark, glowing crimson. Really rather winning on the nose – a great combination of ripe cherry fruit and raciness. Perhaps not the depth and subtlety of the greatest examples but the superiority of the climat is certainly showing through. Really quite long and rewarding. You could drink this immediately but it would be a bit of a waste of money. Wait for more complexity to develop.
