The impressive 1997 Puligny-Montrachet Les Combettes displays menthol and floral aromas. It explodes on the palate with anise-flavored candied, almond juice, white truffles, and pears. Its medium-to-full body has excellent grip, yet plump, and offers a long and detailed finish.
