The 2003 Corton-Charlemagne (white) boasts a nose of creamed nuts and spices. This light to medium-bodied offering is rich, satin-textured, and fresh. Cookie dough, buttered toast, anise, nutmeg, assorted spices, minerals, and traces of candied limes can be discerned in its complex character. A lemony note, providing freshness and lift, makes an appearance in its long, suave finish.
