Rich ruby colour with a purple shimmer. The nose has a sweet aroma of cooked cherries and fine honey notes. Lots of substance on the palate, medium-fine astringency, grainy on the tongue with an indication of character. Not a fine Margaux, nor one to be savoured quickly, but a patient food wine with rough edges.
