The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Lotus Vineyard shares with its siblings an opaque purple color, a beautiful nose of spring flowers, blueberry and blackberry fruit, a touch of spice box, licorice and forest floor. It is very expressive, a great full-bodied classic, and quite powerful and long. This wine should benefit from 5-8 years of cellaring and last a half century or more. This wine was also scheduled to be bottled after it had spent a full 25 months in 90% new French oak

Here is a perfect wine with incredible aromatics showing lilacs, violets and roses. Slate, blueberry and blackberry undertones. Full-bodied, powerful and intense. Blueberry and hot stones. Incredible depth and intensity. This needs at least three to five years to come together. The mountain fruit delivers such structure and richness. About 300 cases.?
