(a classic Rioja blend, bottled with a gold label) Good healthy medium red. Explosive aromas of raspberry preserves, strawberry, roasted nuts, truffle and smoke. Fat, lush and rich, with complex, inviting flavors of smoked red fruits, roasted game and earth supported by solid underlying spine. Finishes with fresh, lingering fruit and fine tannins.
