First vintage after planting in 2015. This is a wild spot, out of sight of the village itself with hot days and cold nights. Fine full primrose. Very little bouquet at this stage. Fourth leaf for these vines, always pruned hard. Only 2–3 bunches per vine. Approx 20% new oak.
More open on the nose, more creamy than the Grandes Corvées, and slightly nutty. On the palate, rich in fruit, apricot, ripe but tense with freshness. Has the breadth of St-Aubin and great freshness. Apricot and clementine intensity. Long, rich yet fresh.
