La Tyre is a high-sited, 10-ha parcel, covered with large rolled pebbles on very steep slopes.
The wine, 100% Tannat fermented and matured in 100% new oak is made from a rigorous selection involving about 6 different passages in the vineyards, prior to the harvest.

“Rich, ripe and full-bodied red with an alluring aroma filled with coffee and cigar box notes. Loads of flavour, dominated by dark plum, dark cherry and bittersweet chocolate. Mocha and spice ooze from the long finish. Best from 2004. 1,400 cases made.”
