It was in the Spring of 2022 when the Duchess contacted Tomer Goren, head distiller that they had a great cask available of the Caroni 21 Years old they had just released. As Caroni highly sought after Tomer was directly interested in a collaboration. After shipping the cask to Israel that spring it was filled with new make milk and honey spirit.
We were given the option to select a special cask number as they are longtime friends with the Milk & Honey distillery. They chosen 1907 as it’s the founding year of best of wines when it was established. It’s also to celebrate the 115th anniversary for best of wines.
In August 2022 Tomer contacted his friends at the Duchess again and informed them that it was ready to be bottled as he was very excited about the quality. To quote Tomer Goren: “I do not want any longer, its perfect now”!
We can now offer you this special single cask edition for the Duchess that is only available in the Netherlands.
