The purple-colored 2004 Pagos de Vina Real offers a full-throttle bouquet of pain grille, pencil lead, leather, espresso, black cherry, and blackberry. This leads to a medium to full-bodied Rioja with outstanding depth and concentration, loads of savory fruit, incipient complexity, and enough ripe tannin to evolve for 5-7 years. Drink this lengthy effort from 2015 to 2029.
